GameHouse Europe B.V. - Business Intelligence & Database Development

Gamehouse is specialised in Casual, Timebased games. The contents of their own websites as well as the sales and marketing process is stored in an MS SQL Server database, of which the datamodel has “arisen” during the past 10 years.
The person who created these systems left the company a couple of years ago. By result the system is not completely up to date, partly unused and party uncontrollable.

I am hired to get grip on the databases and the BI environment. During this period I improved the system, build in-depth knowledge of the internal processes, techniques used and the information issues for mainly the Marketing and Finance department.

In the mean time, a US team is creating a new Business Business Intelligence solution, which will replace the current old system in the future. My role in this new part is to be liaison between the US development team and the Dutch Marketing, Finance and Data Analysis departments. Part of this role is to provide general BI advice where needed.
